Operation Immunization is so excited to be partnering with Beckman’s Prescription Shop out of Murfreesboro, TN to immunize seniors at the local housing authority and assisted living, and employees at Reading for Education. The purpose of these events are to provide flu vaccinations to underserved areas of the community that might otherwise not receive them. It is more vital than ever to receive the influenza vaccine during these times and students have an amazing opportunity to provide this immunization to some of the people that need it the most. In addition to immunizing these patients, students will educate the patient on what they may expect once receiving the shot and how important it is to receive the vaccine annually.
